Dr. Dave grew up on Long Island and attended Hamilton College in upstate New York. He received a B.A. in biology and played attack for the varsity lacrosse team. After college, he attended the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine.
After dental school, Dr. Dave was a Navy dentist, stationed at the Naval Air Station on Whidbey Island in the state of Washington. After his naval career, he went back to the University of Pennsylvania where he received his post graduate Certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Dave is a published author in the Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. He is a past president of the Greater Danbury Dental Society and is the Chief of Orthodontics for the Danbury Hospital General Dentistry Residency Program. He has been on the medical staff at Danbury Hospital for over 30 years. He has been named as one of Connecticut Magazine’s Top Dentists every year since the award began.
He is a graduate of the Aligner Intensive Fellowship, the most extensive Invisalign course of study in the world. Being a clinician as well as an educator has kept him abreast of the latest technology in the field of orthodontics.
Dr. Dave and his wife Donna enjoy hiking in the woods and traveling. They were married at the Bethesda Fountain in New York City’s Central Park. They ride their motorcycles as often as they can and Dr. Dave also enjoys his watchmaking hobby.
