Every Smile Starts with a Consultation

Becoming acquainted with our team is one of the benefits of your first orthodontic consultation in Easton. We will find out the best treatment for you and your needs while learning more information about our orthodontic practice. During your first meeting with our Easton team, we will:

  • Review your dental and medical history
  • Perform a complete oral exam with X-Rays, to determine whether treatment is necessary
  • Work with you to create a customized treatment plan
  • Discuss financial information, insurance options, and payment plans

After Your Initial Orthodontic Consultation

Choosing to schedule your first appointment with your orthodontist, completing your paperwork, and scheduling a second appointment for x-rays is all that happens after we finish your consultation. One of our Easton orthodontic assistants will be by your side for the whole procedure, assuring you and making it as comfortable as possible. They will make sure to help you understand the entire process entirely and guide you in correctly placing your orthodontic appliance. From here, there will be a second appointment for around 2 hours, which our Easton Orthodontic team will make sure you stay comfortable always.

Scheduling Orthodontic Appointments

To make sure that your new orthodontic piece is working correctly, for every four to eight weeks, it is recommended by our Easton orthodontic team to set up an appointment. We will work around your hectic work and life schedule to get an appointment that works right for you. We need to make sure that you’ve always looked after and cared for.

If you cannot make it to your appointment at any time, it is alright for you to contact our Easton office to let us know. Our Easton team is understanding and always wants to be able to work along with you. Contact us whenever your availability opens up, and our Easton schedule coordinator will be there to assist you.

Easton Treatment Options

Child & Teenage Orthodontics & Teeth Straightening

Common orthodontic issues are crowding, widely spaced teeth, jaw growth problems, protruding teeth, or bad bites for children (often inherited or a result of injury). Thumb-sucking habits or early to late tooth loss can also be a cause of bad bites in children. With adults, though, orthodontic problems can continue with age. The only way to fix those problems from then is orthodontic surgery. The benefit for children’s orthodontic issues is that they still have time for them to mend themselves. Adult’s jaws will harden by adulthood.

Preventing this as your child ages is possible at our Easton office. They can receive the proper orthodontic treatment for this that will help decrease the possibility of any necessity for orthodontic surgery later in life. Not waiting for the problem to “figure itself out” is the correct move, even if your child is seven years old. Contact us if it seems like your child needs orthodontic care. Our Easton team of orthodontists are here to help at all times. Schedule an initial exam if anything happens. Here at CT Braces, we want to ensure that your child’s smile is more confident as we help straighten their teeth.

Two-Phase Treatment

In three simple, easy steps, our two-phase treatment can help your child have a healthier, beautiful smile.

  1. Phase one will involve your Easton orthodontist in recommending treatment for any growth, tooth crowding, or spacing issues. From this, your alignment of your child’s permanent teeth will be able to be achieved.
  2. After this, a resting period will occur. During which your child’s permanent teeth will be able to grow naturally. There will be no need for a retainer due to this.
  3. Phase two will involve assigning your child a complete set of upper and lower braces by our Easton orthodontic professionals. This will help with the process of aligning their permanent teeth.

Whether you have been referred to us or are interested in learning more, contact our Easton office today, and we will inform you of all you need to know about our orthodontic practice.

Adult Orthodontics

‘One in five orthodontic patients is over 21 years of age,’ said The American Association of Orthodontists. At CT Braces, we always want our Easton patients to leave satisfied with their new stunning and straight teeth and gain confidence in their smiles.

Adult’s jaws, compared to children’s, are harder, leading to a higher risk of gum or bone loss, worn or missing teeth, or have suffered incomplete orthodontic treatment as a child or teen.

Between our Easton adults and children, our Easton team at CT Braces can tell the difference of problems between the two. Our goal is to help you at all times, so contact our Easton orthodontic practice to begin the process by setting up an initial exam to get more information.

Easton, CT Invisalign® Options

Here at CT Braces, Invisalign® can be an option for our Easton clients. These invisible, removable aligners allow you to reach a healthy, straight smile without the use of braces, and we can happily say that we are a certified provider of them. During your treatment involving these comfortable trays, you will still be able to eat, drink, brush and floss at all times. Every two weeks, it will be necessary for a new set of these aligners to be obtained for the desired position of your teeth to be slowly yet surely reached.

Make sure to visit your Easton orthodontist every six weeks to keep track of your treatment and make sure all is going accordingly. The overall treatment will average around nine to fifteen months. Yet, if you would like to discuss or learn more of the benefits of Invisalign®, feel free to get in touch with our Easton office today.
