Bethany Surgical Orthodontics (Orthognathic Surgery)
Surgical orthodontics, also known as orthognathic surgery, is used to treat severe issues in:
- jaw bone formation
- bad bites
- malocclusion – misaligned teeth.
Surgical orthodontics is how you will begin properly aligning your teeth. Next, orthodontic braces are used, to keep your teeth in the proper positions. CT Braces Bethany Orthodontist works with an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, who will perform your surgery in a hospital.
Orthodontic surgery can last several hours, and requires a period of rest afterwards. This recovery period will last about two weeks. Once your resting period ends, you will be fitted for braces. Braces are worn for around six to twelve months, and after that, a retainer to ensure the placement of your teeth. Surgical orthodontics (otherwise known as orthognathic surgery) is a major medical procedure which is commonly performed and has been successfully practiced for many years. You made the right choice, in considering CT Braces in Bethany for your orthodontic treatments. We will give you the best treatment, and most comfortable service.
